Damascus , (SANA)_One child was martyred and other citizens, including an old man, were injured as a mortar shell, launched by terrorists, fell near the gas station in al-Sheikh Saad in al-Mezzah. A source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that a mortar shell fell on a house near the gas station, causing the martyrdom of an 11-year-old child and the injury of an 8-year-old child and old man who were rushed to hospital. The source added that the terrorist attack also caused material damage to the house. Earlier, three citizens were martyred and others wounded when terrorists detonated a car loaded with large amounts of explosives in Kanaker town in Damascus countryside. A source at the Police Command told SANA that an armed group detonated the car near al-Omari Mosque in Kanaker town, causing the martyrdom of three citizens, including a father and his son, and the injury of 10 others, among them women and children. The car bomb cause large-scale damage in the area, the source added.
