Dambulla UPFA MC Member arrested SATURDAY, 13 JULY 2013 18:06 1 COMMENTS E-MAIL| PRINT |PDF The UPFA Member for Dambulla Municipal Council Dinesh Rajapaksa has been arrested for running over a youth. The UPFA Member was arrested yesterday (12th) by Dambulla Police when the Member, who was drunk at the time ran over a youth killing him instantly. The UPFA member had fled after the youth was run over at a place called Lapaththala. The youth killed in the incident is 23 year old Sanjeewa Kumara Ekanayake, a resident of Andawala. According to reports the Member had been consuming liquor throughout yesterday at a house on a by lane near public market at Matale.
