Damn you Vegard Sverre Tveitan, you are a genius like no other. Even in the days of raw black metal emotion and cultural angst that dominated the metal culture in your country, you managed to create with Emperor beautifully crafted soundtracks to rebellion at a higher level than all other bands, and when Emperors debut album was released, you were the only one in the band who was not in prison.
