Dan, lets talk about what really was. On 16th of June we recieved - TopicsExpress

Dan, lets talk about what really was. On 16th of June we recieved a request for a booking for an event on the 21st of June to replace Rusko (who for unknown reasons canceled). Thats six days prior to the event, which at the promise of a slightly bigger fee than usual, was accepted. Let it be understood that it was a compliance by our side. A ridiculous amount of money was spent on the tickets to travel to Sofia, wasnt a comfortable trip either without going into details. During that trip an unexpected illness struck Markus, which affected his performance only marginally. Sure, things could have gone better, had there been better performance conditions and more time to prepare. Had Indivision been less forthcoming and refused to go on stage, there had not been anyone to perform. Which is better, a slightly ill artist or no artist? The claim of a low quality peformance is subjective and not supported by any proof or facts (at least not any has been presented to us). Inversely we have videos of a very happy and static crowd at front row. The complaint made by Coco agency that people were leaving during the performance plays no factor in the quality of the performance. The genres of the performers were extremely versatil and it was clear that most people there wanted to throw some colorful powder in the air and have fun, listening to a DnB performance was a side dish. So when it was clear that the event is coming to an end, its natural that people want to get a head start to get home, especially when they couldnt care less about the music on stage. Had it been a DnB centric festival, then yes, people leaving would be bad. But let us stay in context. Before Indivisions call to stage, DJ Sash had the honor. Also there were some ethnic dancers and... I think you get the point. After the performance and the day after that when one of our dears promoters Dan dropped Markus off at the airport, there was not a complaint in sight. The fee under question was promised to be transferred. Only after Markus had left Bulgaria, did we receive the opinion about the awful performance. If thats not lying... None of our fact backed arguments were overturned, nor were there any honest communications created. Only the same repeated accusations of an awful performance. At our initiative we managed couple of phone calls to bring some clearance to the situation, which were met with rude yelling and cursing from the promoters. No self-respecting professional would stoop to this level. We have recordings of the conversations and its not a really pleasant thing to listen. Its almost embarrassing to ask for refunds for a couple of meals that the Coco agency has not even discussed after the primary e-mail with the promise to compensate two meals, €20 per meal. To an agency this big and dearly loved, seems almost completely out of character and unethical. We are really sad that the festival didnt attract the expected crowd and left the promoters at a financial difficulty, as Indivision moved mountains to be there only to be insulted and lied to. We also hope that Dan and Cvety realise this and work on their honesty.
