Dances who say am stopping to dance because my parents so on and so forth, dont make sense how many things do you do that your parents dont approve of, I bet if your same parents really got to know you like your friends do they would be surprised. Lets say for example you are dating and your parents dont approve of that because of there on reasons based on what they think is best for you. If you follow what they say you wont be dating and you will feel like you are missing out but if you dis obey which most of us do by the way, thats when it feels right. Now if you are in this situation and you gave up dance because of what your parents said then you were not a dancer after all you were just faking or doing it for the moment. So dont blame your parents, blame yourself.
