Danger danger! Posse Comitatus is supposed to protect the civilian population from the use of military forces on American Soil. After the reconstruction following the civil war the posse comitatus act was passed. In it was the guarantee that the military would not be used against civilians and prohibited the use of the U.S. Armed Forces to enforce laws unless the Constitution or an act of Congress explicitly authorized such use. So what Constitutional law has been broken to use these forces as a scare tactic against the American people. When did the United States House or Senate declare that it was all right to use a basic form of marshall law to patrol the skies and grounds that are protected under passe comitatus?
