Dani: Laurence went into respiratory distress twice in the night, 3am and 5:45 am. I swapped masks and used cough assist machine to get mucus up. His mouth is bleeding and full of frothy gunk. I pulled out some mucus plugs. His belly is like a balloon due to fluid build up. Body just trying to keep heart running so other organs slowing down. A friend Chris Bradley arrived last night to offer moral support. Im guessing district nurses will suggest upping morphine to sedate him...difficult decisions that only those who faced them can comprehend. Thoughts are fine, as for prayers - we are the two atheists. Finally, it is LaUrence with an U, no W in his name.
