Daniel 7:23-28King James Version (KJV) 23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. 24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. 26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end. 27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him. 28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart. Daniel (Hebrew: דָּנִיֵּאל, Modern DaniyyelTiberian Dāniyyêl ; Arabic: دانيال, Hebrew God is my Judge) is the protagonist in theBook of Daniel of the Hebrew Bible. In the narrative, Daniel was one of several children taken into Babylonian captivity where they were educated in Chaldean thought. However, he never converted to Neo-Babylonian ways. Through instruction from the God of Heaven (Dan.2:18), he interpreted dreams and visions of kings, thus becoming a prominent figure in the court of Babylon. He also had apocalyptic visions concerning the Four monarchies. Some of the most famous events in Daniels life are: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,The writing on the wall and Daniel in the lions den. Nebuchadnezzar Main article: Daniel 2 In the narrative of Daniel Chapter 2, it was the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar and the king was distressed by his dreams,[v.1] so he summoned his interpreters.[v.2]However, they were unable to relay or interpret the dreams.[v.10-11] The king was furious and demanded the execution of all the wise men in Babylon.[v.12] When Daniel learned of the kings order, he asked the captain of the guard, Arioch, to let him see the king.[v.13-16] Daniel prayed for Gods mercy to receive a revelation from the kings dream.[v.15-18] God then revealed the mystery to Daniel in a vision that same night.[v.19] Daniel praised God with a doxology.[v.20-23] After meeting with Arioch again, Daniel was granted access to the king,[v.24-30] and relayed the description of the dream,[v.31-36] followed by its interpretation.[v.37-45] With Daniels successful interpretation of the dream, the king expressed homage,[v.46] followed by his own doxology that affirmed that Daniels God is God of gods for revealing this mystery of his dream.[v.47] Daniel was then promoted to chief governor over the whole province of Babylon.[v.48] At Daniels request, his companions were also promoted, so that they remained at the kings court.[v.49][3] Nebuchadnezzars madness Nebuchadnezzar recounted his dream of a huge tree that was suddenly cut down at the command of a heavenly messenger. Daniel was summoned and interpreted the dream. The tree was Nebuchadnezzar himself, who for seven years, lost his mind and became like a wild beast. All of this came to pass until, at the end of the specified time, Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men[4:25]and his sanity and kingdom were restored to him. Daniel 7 is the seventh chapter of the Book of Daniel in the Hebrew Bible. It is the last chapter written in Aramaic before it continues again in the Hebraic Masoretic text of the next chapter. This chapter begins the first series of apocalyptic visions that Danielreceives and is given cryptic interpretations for a portion of them. The chapter includes visions that Daniel receives of four beasts coming out of the sea, as well as a vision of one like the Son of Man coming up to the Ancient of Days. Some interpretation of these visions is given to Daniel, but no beast is clearly identified with any specific kingdom. However, some Christian theologians since the 2nd century have connected the eagle winged lion with Nebuchadnezzars Babylonia, a matter still open to considerable debate. One traditional interpretation of these four beasts is that, in order from first to last, they are Neo-Babylonian Empire, followed by Achaemenid Empire (which was made up of Medes and Persia, with one being stronger than the other), then the Macedonian Empire and the Roman Empire. Medieval Christian writers, especially in Apocalyptic accounts, often identified the beasts with later empires, closer to their own times, believing that Daniels prophecy had yet to be fulfilled; the rapid rise of the Islamic caliphate in and around traditionally Christian lands make its identification with the last beast attractive. Source: Wikipedia It is my opinion that the fourth beast or kingdom has yet to be fulfilled but it is in our midst. It shall be diverse and devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces I believe it is the Antichrists new world order, one world government and one world religion brought about by communists and Islamofascists and the events we are witnessing in this generation...
