Dark Chocolate Panna Cotta minnieyoohoo Yield: Serves 6Prep Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 7 mins Ingredients: 1 Cup Whole Milk 1 Package (2 Teaspoons) Unflavored Gelatin 2 Cups Heavy Cream 1/4 Cup Honey 1 Pound Dark Chocolate, Finely Chopped 1 Teaspoon Almond or Vanilla Extract Topping of Choice: Sweetened Whipped Cream (See Notes Above) Directions: Place 6 (8 ounce) ramekins or small clear glasses on a baking sheet. Pour the milk into a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin over the milk and stir. Let the gelatin rest and soften for 5 minutes. In a small saucepan, heat the cream and sugar over medium heat, stirring often to dissolve the sugar. When the cream jus comes to a boil, remove from the heat and whisk in the gelatin mixture. Add the chocolate and extract, and whisk until the chocolate has completely melted. Pour the mixture through a strainer or sieve into a large spouted measuring container or bowl to remove any lumps. Pour the strained mixture into the ramekins, dividing it up evenly. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours. Serve topped with sweetened whipped cream or topping of choice.
