Dark Horse Friends and Families: I hope you enjoy a restful Veteran’s Day and take the opportunity to reflect on meaning of the day. The flight window for our return to Camp Pendleton remains as posted by the FRO on eMarine. No actual flights have been confirmed for our rotation with 2/4 but I think it’s most likely that we’ll see flights occurring around the middle of the published window. I am hopeful that after the Veteran’s Day holiday that we’ll have solid information to share on our return timelines. Also, next Monday, 10 November, is the Marine Corps Birthday; we’ll mark the day in Okinawa with a simple formation and look forward to properly celebrating the occasion upon our return at the battalion ball.
