Dash Ray Baumler born April 29th at 10:39 P.M. 7 lbs 1 oz of pure sweetness and joy!! We are all doing great and will bring mama and little Dash home from the hospital today. Dashiell “Dash” Parr from the Incredibles definitely help to inspire the first name. The middle name was chosen to honor our loving 96 year old Grampa Ray RayandBarbara Dennis. He (Dash) also dashed out during birth since we got to hospital at ~9:15 P.M. and he really came out fast withing an hour 15 min. This time we again had the rock n roll delivery room as I serenaded Megan through the labor process, birthing set list included I will and Rocky Racoon by the Beatles, and then once born, Dandelion Toes and Happy Happy Birthday by Davey Doodle. It was amazing when I was singing and playing invisible trumpet, little Dash opened up his eyes for the first time and looked at me and smiled. He recognized the voice and music that he has heard for the past 9 months. Yesterday I sang many more songs to the family on ukulele. I am the proudest papa in the world!!
