Data from aircraft going in and out of DFW reveal that the air continues to SINK over north Texas which is making it hard for storms to pop. However, not to worry. This is only temporary. Air will begin rising over the area tonight giving us scattered showers and storms. Coverage tonight, however, will have to be lowered from 70% to 50%, but we get to increase Mondays coverage from 50% to a 70%, so it all balances out in the long run. ;-) A large cluster of rain with embedded thunderstorms will be moving in from the NW by morning and will continue through early afternoon. Rainfall amounts in the Metroplex are expected to range from 0.01 to 1.25 through Monday afternoon.
