Dated30\07\20014 SUDF: Statement on yet another Travesty of justice Courts under a royal cleavage of paranoia and mediocre, are bound to pronounce shocking judgments. These judgments are usually fraught with prejudice and malice like what came out last week through the mouth of a lumpen in the pretext of a Judge. No man, neither woman who is of a sane mind would adjudge a simply case of an article like this one, and come out with such a judgment. It’s only a lily livered boy who is desperate to impress his handlers with any piece of dead wood in the forest of lunacy. William Butler Yeats (1865-1939) in his renowned poem in 1919 titled, The Second Coming, puts much better when he said, “The ceremony of innocence is drowned; the best lack all conviction, while the worst are full of passionate intensity.” This is what better explain our situation in Swaziland currently, things are falling apart indeed wherein judges sanctioned to mete out justice to the downtrodden, poor and oppressed are hell bent at dancing to the whims and caprice of the executive, there are wining and dining with the devil in the temple of injustice, making a living to feed their children in the carcass of a dead horse. Until when must we suffer in the hands of hired mercenaries who senselessly murder our conscience as a society, vulgarize our jurisprudence and scandalize our social fiber as a Swazi Nation? After all is said and done, lamentations, endless analysis and English language with velvet adjectives will never bring us a system anchored on the respect for rule of law, justice and democracy. Practical men and women of honor capable of organizing and leading a struggle for total emancipation is what will take us forward. The enemy of democracy in Swaziland has thrown the ball in our court, it’s up to us now, how we take it up.it has been clear what its prime objective is, consistence of its message as well as passion of its lieutenants in robes is. Let us worst no time, but take the baton from the hands of our prisoners of conscious awaiting trial and convicted alike, and work. Time is of essence and space is of scarcity. Never has the regime been this crazy, afraid while thick headed like it is. Let us wage from all fronts and converge our energies decisively and consistently until victory is ascertained. Amandla Ngawethu, Freedom is possible. Issued by SUDF Contact: Wandile Dludlu Coordinator 76111676 25058926 [email protected] sudf2008@gmail
