Our friend, New York State Racing Historian Roger Liller possesses the ability to come-up with some really unique images from his files and this is one of them. States Roger; “I was digging through an envelope of unsorted racing photos this week and thought your readers might enjoy this one. It’s the motorboats racing at the Danbury Fairgrounds in the moat around the midget track that would later be drained to make the famous Danbury Racearena.
