Dave Murrays Latest STL forecast and weather disco…MONDAY...October 6, 2014 *** Fast flow in the atmosphere in control this week and all eyes on Pacific Simon…to see how that moisture will impact our weather*** MONDAY: Mix of clouds and sun…with a few spot, fast showers…lots of dry time. WINDS: South 10-20 M.P.H. HIGH: 69 degrees MONDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy…some showers mainly late…the game should be okay WINDS: West 5-10 M.P.H. LOW: 58 DEGREES. TUESDAY: Partly to mostly sunny…windy and warmer WINDS: South 10-20 M.P.H. HIGH: 80 DEGREES THE WEATHER DISCO: The tail of two big time flows this week…the northwest flow in control for a few days(we never trust the northwest flow) this will send several impulses of energy into the region…with each bringing the shot of fast showers(think fall alberta clippers) Rain will be fast and limited…but these impulses will bring some wild swings in temperature(warm ahead and cooler behind). Then late week the flow goes zonal…west to east…typically bringing a rather unsettled pattern of weather with an interesting wrinkle…the pick up of the moisture of what is now major pacific hurricane Simon…this surge of moisture comes into play thursday and thursday night and should bring a rather impressive batch of rain and even some wind…that will be fun to watch unfold…then a cold front drops in friday and chilly temperatures back for the up-coming weekend…its a week of weather fun…lets enjoy.
