Dave Murrays Latest STL forecast and weather disco...THURSDAY...November 20, 2014: *** A little colder on Thursday... nothing extreme...just chilly to cold around the region...watching a wet system for the weekend*** THURSDAY: Partly sunny...chilly to cold WINDS: Northwest 5-10 M.P.H. HIGH: 38 degrees THURSDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy...cold WINDS: Northwest 5-10 M.P.H. LOW: 22 DEGREES. FRIDAY: Partly sunny---chilly to cold...increasing clouds for the afternoon WINDS: East 5-15 M.P.H. HIGH: 39 DEGREES a light and spotty mix of rain, freezing rain and sleet Friday night...minor right now...rain and a few thunderstorms...Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday THE WEATHER DISCO: Quiet times on this Thursday as a dome of high pressure settles over us...another arctic high...but not bringin in the extreme cold...Wednesday we went above 40 degrees for the first time since November 11th...we will be in the 30s this afternoon...20s at night. A new system will roll with the west to east zonal flow and turn into an impressive storm system...in west Texas...we should see a light winters mix Friday night...sleet, freezing rain and rain...looking very light right now...then rain and even some thunderstorms Saturday into Sunday...as temps pop to about 55 degrees Saturday...warmer on Sunday... The system will be a cutter...passing just to our west and north...allowing warmer air to flow in from the south...and keep the bulk of the wet...rain...it does look like a very wet weekend. I will start looking at the holiday week...over the weekend...lets get this latest pacific storm going...then we can move ahead.
