Dave Murrays latest stl forecast and weather disco...For Monday...January 27, 2014 *** Big-time cold back in place the next few days…not as intense as the early January surge but very close. Bundle up into Thursday***. Monday: Windy and bitter cold…under partly to mostly sunny skies…tough cold once again Winds: Northwest 15-35 m.p.h. High: 13 degrees…winds below zero much of the day Monday night: Clear skies and bitter cold Winds: Northwest 5-15 m.p.h. Low: 0 degrees. Tuesday: Partly sunny…breezy and still intense cold Winds: Northwest 10-20 m.p.h. High: 18 degrees Quiet and cold all day Wednesday THE WEATHER DISCO: The crud that is going around has finally gotten to me…upper respiratory stuff…not good in our biz. Been down most of the weekend…little promise Monday…but we will see. As we all know by now the latest arctic freight train is here…bitter cold and severe wind chills all day on Monday and into Monday night…tough cold…cut to the bone cold. Cold times..well below average Tuesday, Wednesday and into Thursday. Next system is a mix of a clipper and a southwest system…allowing warmer air to come into the picture the end of the week…some snow possible late Friday night with a mix of rain and snow Saturday. Yes February still looks like a rough winters month…no change from my winter forecast issued in November. That is it for now…back to bed.
