David Bailey has made an outstanding contribution to photography, creating consistently imaginative and thought-provoking portraits. As well as some of his new work, the landmark exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery includes a wide variety of Bailey’s photographs that span more than half a century. Bailey’s Stardust exhibition features 250 portraits selected by David Bailey himself, some never before seen, such as images from his travels in India in 2012 and a new portrait of model Kate Moss.
