David Clayton Clarke Thesis # 2 October 27, 2013/ Posted: October 28, 2013 It truly liberates and sets one free, when you come to know, acknowledges, and understands the truth--life then begins. Though I was born and raised in the fear of the LORD and His righteousness--the principle of JESUS CHRIST; there was a time years ago, when I, on and off, did foolish, even unrighteous things. Then, I knew not, nor did I realized, who I was and what I really had to lose--being a child of righteousness, peace, joy, and happiness]. I was young then, not in terms of age, yet I was young in age; rather, in my personality--yet not in my mind; I was arrogant, not for reason of pride, rather, ignorance. In essence, I took the LORD and for all that He stands--for granted. Things are not the same now--however, for I now know who I am, the LORD’S child; to live and do GOD’S Will; also, I have gained much from the LORD, [not in terms of material things], more than enough to know better than to betray Him. There is a time for all things, and when I was young, arrogant and ignorant--not knowing better, then was the time to do foolish even unrighteous and ungodly things; however, now that I know better--now is the time to do and commit myself to doing the right things, righteous and godly living. There is a time for all things under the sun, and when a man or woman is not aware of the wrong things they are doing are involved, that is the time for them to do such activities; though ignorance is no excuse for the law, nor the LORD; neither is there any sin and unrighteous deed which shall go unpunished and unrewarded; When the same man or woman have come to the knowledge and understanding of their wrong doings, sinful and unrighteous deeds, then is the time for such a one to cease from their ungodly activities. The acknowledgment of one’s wrongs, the repentance and remorse of one’s actions and involvement, and the desire and request to the LORD for His forgiveness--will set the record straight--cleanse the past, correct things placing one on the right path of truth and life. Bless The LORD.
