David de Gea is quickly becoming one of the worlds very best - TopicsExpress

David de Gea is quickly becoming one of the worlds very best goalkeepers, but his top class performances continue to draw attention from Real Madrid. The Old Trafford club dont want to sell, but according to the Daily Express, Real are prepared to smash the world record fee for a goalkeeper in order to make it happen. The record remains the huge £33m that Juventus paid for Gianluigi Buffon in 2001, which would mean a real test of Uniteds resolve. However, despite the reports of impending bid from Spain, de Gea himself is believed to be very happy at United and isnt looking to move. With rumours of a bumper new contract in the pipelines, a report by the Sun claims the Spanish goalkeeper has told United friends and colleagues, including captain Wayne Rooney, that he is happy to sign on the dotted line and commit his long term future to the club.
