Daviesia cunderdin is as Critically Endangered as it gets: it is currently known from only one location of six plants in the Wheatbelt of Western Australia. Seed has been collected and stored at the Threatened Flora Seed Centre since the mid 1990’s, but until recently there were only 600 seeds in storage. Translocation efforts began in 2004 and seed was recently collected from the resulting plants for the first time. This collection increased the amount of available seed by 50%. This seed, in conjunction with collections from the natural population, will be used to increase the number of plants in the translocated population. (Photos: Andrew Crawford, DPaW)
