Day 1 - This was actually our travel day. We drove to Memphis for our flight. Memphis airport is very convenient. They have a new economy parking garage ($6 per day) with moving walkways to the terminal. Check-in was a little slow, but pretty easy process. They weighed our luggage (I was the winner with a 49.5 lb. bag) and checked our passports and we were on our way to security. The security line was pretty short. We had decided to wait to eat until we got to the airport. Unfortunately, in our terminal that left only two choices a tex-mex fast food shop or Home Team Sports. We ate at the latter, which was okay, but of course had airport prices. Our flight was on time and we were soon off to our first stop in Dallas. At Dallas we found our next gate and also left on-time for our 8:30 p.m. arrival time in Vancouver (they are on Pacific Time).
