Day 1. Anyone who knows me knows I have a love affair with carbs. Eating healthy has never really came easy for me. I can talk myself into a snicker bar in about 2 seconds with no regrets. So.. I let Krista talk me into doing weight watcher points. I made this big decision the other day, thinking it would be easy. I mean seriously, you get points and you dont go over. Easy, right? WRONG. So so so wrong. I started the day with 30 points. Seems like a lot. Today was also supposed to be day 1 of training for a half (we will get to all that fun stuff later in the week). Anyways when I woke up I had every intention to run so I made myself a decent breakfast. 3 eggs (usually I use egg whites but its Monday and I was lazy), 3 maple sausages, and one slice of cheese. As I was taking my last bite, Krista texted me to remind me to download this app to track my points and weigh in. Eff. I had already forgot about the point things. I start adding up my delicious breakfast. 11 points in a 4 minute eating session. I had already eaten almost half my points and it was only 9 am. As the rest of the morning ticks on I started getting hungry again about 11am went to grab one of my go to snacks, a dark chocolate and sea salt Kind Bar, Yes its as amazing as it sounds, target sells them. I figured the points. 6 points. I threw it back in the cabinet. The rest of the afternoon kinda went like this. Hungry. Found food. Pointed it out. Decided it wasnt worth the points. Ate a pickle instead. That happened more than I am willing to admit right now. Dinner ended up being a stir fry that my husband, shawn, made for me. Ended up using only 2 points for dinner. Yay!! I skipped out on my run today because I seriously couldnt figure out what to eat and I was nervous to drink my protein stuff after my run. The points will be a huge adjustment for me. I have googled and downloaded a bunch of stuff to better educate me with this. If you have ever done ww points, please share some food ideas. I may be starving right now and I am eyeballing my kids left over Halloween candy. Tomorrow I will start my training. We also start a few classes this week. If anyone is in our area and wants to join us in some of these classes, please let us know. We will post our training/workout in the am. Most classes will be at night. We will be doing another pole dancing class this week at studio 88 in west Bloomfield. I am still sore from Saturdays class. I also would like to add the amount of likes and feedback we have already received is amazing and incredibly encouraging. We were not expecting nothing like this in our first day.
