[Day 1 of 5] Dominics gratitude challenge Ive been challenged to name three things Im grateful for, every day for five days. Easy right? :) 1. Im grateful for wild and wacky genre bending asian pop music. Not just the over choreographed, million dollar music videos, but the people you find when you listen to it. Beautiful, beautiful people like Jennifer, Bernice, Yabisi, Susan, Lily and so many others. 2. Im grateful to have grown up in a bustling world of video games. Seems silly, but video games have shaped my life for the better in so many ways. From forcing me to learn to fix a computer myself so I could keep playing, learning to code to make my own games, learning how to Google before Googling was thing, to meeting completely whacky people like Mimi, Hui, Adam, Drew, Pete, Luke...dammit almost my entire friends list I have because of games! But, you all knew that xD 3. Im grateful for how incredibly easy it is to just live in Australia. You hear about how hard it can be to just live in some countries - pittance wages, obnoxious and racist people, absurd cost of living, widespread crime, life-threatening urban conflict. But here? Only the sketchiest memories of a past Australia where those things were common. Yes, you hear about things like the Sydney racist woman a few months ago. But for something like that to make national news just shows how rare it is here. Well, that was fun :)
