Day 1....today I am thankful for my faith. I may not go to church and may not live the religious life everyone thinks I should, but let me tell, if it wasnt for prayers and my faith I wouldnt hv made it through this yr. From the beginning of the yr when my mom got sick, to March 6th when they found a stage 3b tumor on her cervix that was large enough to push through her cervix wall. Watching my world over the nx couple of months get sick and lose so much weight, her appetite and all her energy. Laying nx to her sometimes and watching her trying to sleep but was in so much pain it was unbearable, I would pray that she wouldnt give up on us or herself, which I am sure there was days it would hv been easier. But she never did, she fought with everything she had and just last month they told her the tumor was gone:) slowly but surely she is putting her life back together and becoming that rock my family needs all over again:) Now with all struggling me & the love of my life are going through, watching him day in and day out being in so much pain, again I turn to prayers and asking God to help us and remind myself everyday God is always with us. He got my family though one of the toughest times this yr, he will get us through this with Josh and his back surgery.
