Day +11 Rylands chugging along! He got to do messy play with the occupational therapist today- bugs and shaving cream. This will help him get over his texture issues. The nurse removed the TPN (total parenteral nutrition) this evening. TPN is nutrition that is connected to his Hickman. She was very impressed that at Day +11 this was being removed. She said, Apparently, Rylands a rock star! :) Mucositis was starting to kick his butt this evening. I had the nurse give him a bump of morphine to help settle him down. Grow Cells Grow!
