Day 12: Praise God for answered prayer. Kevin is on his way home from the hospital in Seattle to St. Maries, ID. It has been such a blessing to be here with them and share time with one of the most precious families we have ever met. Thank you Davis family for loving us so much. As we were in the main lobby waiting for Kevins dad to drive in, there was a piano in the lobby. Kevin and Margaret hadnt heard me play since 2006 when they were here for Beckys wedding. I went over and asked permission and was able to play for them. I played some of the great hymns that get us through these tough times. Tears were shed and people began to gather around and pull up a chair and would request hymns that soothed their souls as well. It was a great time. Tomorrow we head home to 111 degree temps (ugh). I heard from the fire inspector this morning and they will be taking about 2 days to excavate the debris out of the church and get a crane to get the a/c unites out of the building onto pallets in the parking lot. They are going to be getting inside after that and inspecting to find out what caused the fire. I also received a call from our restoration company and they want to meet with me on Wednesday to discuss what I have in mind for the plans of the new building. I am praying that we can do all the things we would like to do to make this new building everything that we need as well as put us in a good place for future growth. It will be a very busy few days as I begin to make arrangements and preparations for the future. I still dont know how this is all going to work out, but I know that nothing is impossible to those who believe. Thank you to all who have held us up in prayer these last few days and have prayed for our friends. Good things are coming and we will definitely know that God was in it all.
