Day 12: So this is not what I had planned on being thankful for today, but life had other plans. Today, I am thankful for 2 things. 1. I am thankful for insurance. In particular, I am thankful for car insurance today. However, in general, I am thankfully for all insurances- car, health, life... 2. I am thankful for, hmm..., well I guess patience. Ironically, I prayed for patience last pm and what do you know?!? I had 2 opportunities to grow in patience this am. First, was during a complete hissy fit my daughter threw, which I did not handle the best. So, guess what happened you ask? Well, I got another chance to react when my back windshield literally fell out as I was about to leave for work. By this time, I felt like I could handle anything thrown at me. I think I only used a few profanities before I calmly called my insurance agent & started cleaning up the huge mess of little, black, pieces of glass all over my driveway & in my van. Also, I was thankful Troy was here to help me redneck rig my window with plastic until it can be fixed tomorrow.
