Day 12: Today I am thankful for the legal community here in South Louisiana. I have worked with lawyers and judges all over the world and I have never worked with a group of professionals who are as dedicated to their clients and as concerned about achieving an equitable outcome as these lawyers are. They strive to win but not at the expense of ethics or justice. They understand that at least in the arena of family law, compromise is sometimes the greatest victory. I am proud to be a member of the bar...and grateful to have passed the bar exam!
