Day 13 - 5h00 Am Club - DONE A little story this morning... When my son Anthony Barzen was 5 years old I separated from his father, at the time I was reading a book that was called Divorce the Sandcastle way. The book contained exercised to do with children of different ages going through divorce. One of the exercises for age 5 - was to tell the child what we appreciated or liked about them and for them to do the same thing. This was to build their self esteem. This is what my 5 year old Anthony told me "Mommy I like it when you say Please and Thank you to me" Fast forward 17 years - Anthony is now 22 years old - he studies at University of Toronto, we are having a conversation on our cell phones, and he says to me "Hold on mom" and I hear him say "Thank you have a nice day" so I ask him where are you now -so he says I am just getting off the bus ... so he was saying thank you to the bus driver. My heart just filled with pride... we can learn from anyone at any age. The word is a power thing ... mind your words! Anthony I am so proud of you!
