Day #13 in Austria, Vienna!! Today I had the honour of being shown around the old historical district of Vienna by my Slovakian aunt Dagmar! She is a teacher so every place that we went she had a history lesson - it was quite amazing! :) This city is utterly stunning with castles and churches on every corner! A few of the many stops we made were the St. Stevens Catherdral, Schonbrunn Palace (grogoeis gothic inspired castle), State Opera House, Hofburg Palace, and we even stopped in Beethovens old castle where he composed some of his most famous masterpieces! Everywhere there were horses and carriages, it felt like I was going back in time 100 years! For dinner we all made homemade sushi, it was delicious and lots of fun with laughs!! Everyone is so kind and I am loving getting to know the family more. Tomorrow we will head out to Slovakia on the countryside more where I meet more family. Such an incredible experience! :)
