Day 13 of Paradise: I dont have any cats or dogs in my house to post pictures of on FB. This makes me feel inadequate as I lose out on viewer ship. I want eyeballs on my page. But then I have two kids with about the same behaviour. They lie around, litter and yawn. And when they do something really, really bad, they give me that woebegone look. You know that one dont you? When you suck in the cheeks, scrunch up the nostrils and pucker up. I suggested to Andy that I could do a series of the two of them lying under chairs, waving their feet in the air, or merely sleeping on blankets wearing ribbons. In a flash of inspiration I suggested we could even do one that had them standing in a bucket or peeking out of a cornflakes carton. The Younger looked at me in the eye and said Dad, whens Mom coming back? I think you are losing it. The Elder was rolling his eyes and making circular motions of the finger around the forehead. Cmon guys, this is for family prestige, dont let personal biases creep into it. And after that Daaru bottal wala picture on Day Zero, this will be a cakewalk. You are a selfish brute Dad they chimed, we are guinea pigs in your popularity contest. As it stands now, the situation is status quo with both sides squaring off and standing their ground. Ill keep you posted.
