Day 137: No pictures today because the batteries in the camera - TopicsExpress

Day 137: No pictures today because the batteries in the camera died. I will have to resurrect it tomorrow. The walls are up in the kitchen and all the walls are up in all the offices. The stucco is really looking good. Electricians are busy, framers are working, and air conditioning people are installing duct work and insulation. Today I had an interview with ABC 15 news. They covered the fire when it happened, and now they are giving me an opportunity to help get our story out to more of the public. Im not sure what time slot it will be on - maybe at 5, 6, or 10, or all of the above. 15 has given us the best coverage in the past. I was able to share about the fact that due to code-upgrades we are short. I have no doubt there will be sufficient monies to pay all of the construction bills, and I thank God for that. But we are having to use the monies meant to replace items and apply it to building costs. However, the Lord reminded me of some things this morning and He gave me the assurance that everything is going to be all right and that He is going to send all that we need our way. I am thankful for the Lord and how He assures us, as well as make provision. If I can encourage you today with anything, let it be this: God will never fail you. I now wake up in the mornings anticipating great blessings to come. I believe through generous hearts we will have sufficient for everything, and even find ourselves in a position to take care of some of the extras like the parking lot. That was our hope to begin with that whatever extra money we might find ourselves with would be applied to possibly working on the lot. But now it has to go toward a commercial kitchen hood system( which we do not need nor will we use it) and a fire alarm system for the building. I had an opportunity to talk with the inspector today. The reason why we need the alarm is because of the square footage and capacity for so many people. In the past we were grandfathered in and we didnt need it. But whenever more than 50% of your building is rebuilt, then the current codes have to kick in. Its our welcome into the 21st century as far as city codes go. I should have some more pictures posted tomorrow. Blessings
