Day 16 Post Accident Great news is that Rick has not had any more seizures so they were able to take the EEG off. Prayers have been answered! He slept most of the day and we think he has his days and nights mixed up. He was supposed to go for CT of head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis but as of now he has not gone back. Multiple doctors must review his labs and sign off that his kidneys will be able to process the contrast that will go through his body. One cause of CVT is cancer so the purpose of the CT is to rule out cancer. Like I said this is a day by day process of checking off the boxes to determine root cause. He oxygen levels are now within range to put Im trachea and pec but they will wait till after CT to do these procedures. I would like to ask for prayers for not only Rick but all the others who are in a coma and for their families. I cannot describe the emotions of uncertainty these families go through everyday. Please pray for peace and comfort. I will always remain optimistic that Rick will come out of his coma, in Gods time. We are #ClausStrong !
