Day 18. Lets talk about The Steve Harvey Show that I was featured on today (I have been waiting for 3 weeks). First, I appreciate ALL of the love, the hate to because I use that as esteem to power my dream. But, lets get down to the nitty gritty. For three weeks I have been afraid of how I was going to be perceived on that show. I signed paperwork the day I defended my dissertation (I was so stressed), when I started getting cold feet...I could not back out, it would have been a half a million dollar back out smh. So, I went ...and prayed Lord use my crazy stories for your glory and in the midst change me. Help me to be a better woman of God. Let me remind you TV is TV even talks shows, meaning there is a script, but most of the story was true. God positioned me to see what TV was all about. He showed me a glimpse of my future. You know what? We all have some relationship issues, the REAL ones I kept in my heart. I hope to use this to speak to other women...who have had crazy dramatics like myself. Now if you know me and saw the show you know ....I dont really act stuck up. I havent even seen the show yet (I dont own a tv) but, I will carry some of Steves words with me. When he found out I preach the gospel, he said you are beautiful and smart let the blessings of the Lord chase you down, the man you marry will run to the ends of the earth because YOU are worth it. Guess what friends so are you! Be well. Take care of yourself and take care of each other. FYI, if you missed it it will air again at 3am (IN SOME CITIES) put your recorder on. But on a lighter note...I did receive the first of many pay days from the industry.. I can get my hair sewn in from Hair Facade
