Day 19: Im thankful for the little moments when Im rocking Noah to sleep and singing Amazing Grace to him and watching him look me directly in the face just watching me sing as though its the most amazing thing hes ever seen. Then I watch as the sound of the melody soothes him and his eyes start to get heavy and roll back in his head. Hes done that since he was born and it still makes me smile. I can just picture one day when hes old enough to talk him knowing every word to that song because it really is his favorite of the songs I sing to him. How sweet it will be when he can sing it with me. It is the little seemingly insignificant and routine moment that Im so thankful to be a mommy. May I also mention I am not a good singer at all not even an ok one so thats not why hes amazed, it may be just the opposite maybe hes thinking jeez how can someone sound so awful lol I really think he just loves music and melodies. Who knows maybe he will be a musician one day.
