Day 2 - Gratitude List Challenge 1) My Baby Girl- I married at 20 and prayed to be a mom of many children. Unfortunately, I could not have children, mostly due to health complications, and it would not be until my 12th yr of marriage that we were able to give birth of our hearts to a beautiful lil princess. Thru adoption, I became a mother. God is so good! 2) For my Ex-hubby- As much as he hates me sayin good things about him on social media...cause it causes discomfort and weirdness for others...(What I love to do in my spare time JK) ...I cant deny that our 17yr marriage that ended would become our greatest gift to ourselves and those who love us. Sometimes, if you love someone enough...u truly have to let them fly. And he did that for me. He did the most humble, painful and selfless act a person could do for me. 3) My Failures- I often feel as if I tend to fail at so many things more than I succeed. Through my countless failures I have succeeded in becoming more God fearing, more selfless, more charitable and more accepting and non-judgemental. 4) My Weaknesses- God blessed me with oh so many! I have found deep and satisfying happiness in having to lean upon my Heavenly Father to deal with these things. With that relationship He has in turn helped strengthen me so that what was once weak for me...eventually turns into some of the most impenetrable strengths I have. 5) My Father- Ive always known I was his favorite because ... I said so! Humph! Lol. Yes, I was his first born. The one he practiced his first fatherhood skills on. Boy, was there a large learning curve with me. His Russian Jew tendencies would become hereditary and is what made me feel so unique, special and individual in a world of conformity. He taught me to believe in my dreams and to be an entrepreneur and always a seeker of a higher global purpose.
