Day 2- Tuesday Start your day with 2 cups of warm water and a pinch of Himalayan sea salt (or cayenne pepper)-30 minutes before breakfast Breakfast Apples n’ Cinnamon Oatmeal ½ (3/4 for men) cup Old Fashion Oatmeal ½ small apple sliced or diced 1 tsp. Cinnamon 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract (Organic) 2 tbsp chopped walnuts OR for grain free Have breakfast from day 1 again –the eggs and black bean scramble Snack Vanilla Shakeology (or protein of choice) shake blended with 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk and ½ cup blueberries OR 2 boiled eggs with 1 slice of Ezekiel toast & mustard Lunch-dinner leftovers from last night Chicken Pasta and Veggies (see Monday’s dinner) Snack 1 whole Apple 1 tbsp. peanut or raw almond butter Dinner- make an extra serving for lunch tomorrow. Turkey Burger 4 (6 for men) oz. lean ground turkey 2 tbsp. of salsa 2 tbsp. red onion chopped 1 whole grain hamburger bun (or no bun for grain free—wrap it in lettuce!!) Combine ingredients above. Form into a burger and grill or broil until cooked through. 1-1.5 cups of steamed zucchini and squash (optional)
