Day 2 I am thankful for the Human Spirit. Yes, there is bad in the world. Yes, there are evil people that do evil things. But for this exercise, I am thankful for the good people. Those of you who do random acts of kindness without expecting anything in return. From the wealthy benefactors who donate their time and money to worthy causes. To the heroes who heed their calling to protect, to serve, to save, to heal and stand in defense of those who cannot. To those who simply and compassionately offer a smile to a random stranger walking down the street. The Human spirit, constantly tested, unnervingly bent, but never broken. I am thankful for Human Ingenuity, Inventiveness, and Creativity. I am thankful for those of you who continue to dream, to strive for greatness in the face of adversity. From the entrepreneurs, to the game changers, to the moneymakers, to the world shapers. To the men and women who have changed the world in technology, music, movies, games, art, poetry, food, stories, and comedy. To the people who had to sacrifice their dreams but still continue to push others, to teach others, to inspire others to remain steadfast to theirs. I am thankful for the special people in my life. nuff said
