Day 2 Nicaragua update: Had an amazing breakfast at our hotel La Islita before setting off on a walking tour of Granada. Its freaking hot here. Around 35 degrees and very sunny. Some great churches and colonial architecture. All kinds of interesting smells too heh. After a lunch of falafels we took a boat ride out to Las Islettas (no relation to the hotel) which are an archipelago group of tiny islands. It was a leisurely cruise, highlight was Monkey Island. After a siesta Almira Esmail and I had a fabulous dinner at an upscale fusion restaurant called El Tercer Ojo. Off to bed now, Volcano and zip lines await tomorrow.
