Day 2: Someone I miss. SFC Tyler, 1SG Jeter and LTC Callanan. These 3 individuals really got me through high school. I remember close to the end of my senior year me and my mom were about to be put out of our home. I went to class and 1st Sergeant asked for my address so she could send my mom a letter letting her know I was getting pinned with another medal. I was so stressed I just blurted out that I wasnt gonna have an address too much longer. Bc this was around the time of prom, the next day she pulled me aside and asked if I was going. I said probably not bc of finances. She reached into her pocket and gave me money for dinner and pictures so I could enjoy my senior prom without any worries for that night.
