Day 2 for things I am grateful for: 1- I am grateful for My business. I have done many different jobs since leaving school but none has given me more joy than the present one. Inland Hunting Properties is the perfect one for us. Speck being a hunter, I have learnt many things over the years in regards to hunting. Some of these I use daily but in reality it works itself. I steer the hunters in the right direction but they basically know what they want. This business has given us real financial security. It also allows me the freedom to work from home which I love. If I feel a bit unwell, I stay in my PJs and no one knows. As much as everyone is fighting over who is going to take it over, I think I will just keep it forever. It is a job I think I will find very hard to let go. Thanks Theresa Pritchard, I know Bear is still angry with you for selling it. 2- I am grateful to have two wonderful brothers. Ian Slater and Steve Slater. Growing up we didnt have much in the way of things that money can buy. Our parents didnt have much money BUT wow, did we have fun. We had a family life that money cant buy. We were lucky enough to live on the northern beaches of Sydney at Avalon. What a beautiful place. Ian was my protector and Steve was my baby brother. We were always together. There are many stories I could tell but they are in my heart and do not need to be here. They are special to me there in my safe place. Brothers are everything to a sister, I just cannot express the love I have for them. ALWAYS brothers-I love you both. 3-I am grateful to have friends. I dont mean just people I know, I mean real friends. I could not imagine the lonely world some have without having special people in their lives who they have no blood ties to. I am fortunate to have some really genuine people whom I love dearly. Friends are different from family, you have to be chosen to be a friend. Then you have to keep that friend. I make sure I earn the right to be called a friend. I dont have to name you, you know in your hearts who you are. So that is the end if day 2 of what I am grateful for. Tomorrow is the day for the big ones...... Guess what they will be? If you know me, you already know. Night all
