Day 2 in Dublin brought with it walking, walking and more walking - TopicsExpress

Day 2 in Dublin brought with it walking, walking and more walking (and thank God a knee that worked!) . Made it to Jamesons for a tour, where volunteer Chrissy got to participate in a whiskey tasting... Scottish, Jamesons, and Jim Beam. She later declared to me how smooth and sweet Jamesons was.... (Was there ever any question?) Next we visited the Guinness storehouse where we toured and opted for a rooftop panoramic view (versus a pint) of Dublin and outlying environs which we will take to the road for tomorrow. Beautiful weather so far, no rain. Trekked back down to the Temple Bar quarter for some shopping, lunch at an outdoor café - complete with live music - some which I felt Joel could have by far surpassed (Mom bias!) - AND went inside The Temple Bar for an official Baileys on the rocks. YUM! Great bar, friendly environment and really roomy inside. Left there and caught a bus back to our hotel area, first checking out the train station before returning. Dinner next, Rental car pick up Wednesday morning and on our way to Kilkenny! The adventure continues.
