Day 2 of Living the Habits of Health: I didnt post yesterday (Day 1), just got busy, but yesterday, as I will today, I got my walk in, stayed on my chosen program, spent family time, did something I thoroughly enjoy (painting), ate delicious, nutritious food, slept well last night. I admit I have become a bit lax with my program to become optimally-healthy, but this is a new day, a new year. Ill try to post daily what I am doing on my journey to optimal health. There are many habits of health: healthy eating, moving your body more, healthy sleep, healthy interactions with the people around you, nourishing your mind and spirit.... even small changes can reap huge benefits. As I look at my upcoming retirement years, I dont want to look back with regret regarding how I took care of my body. We are fearfully and wonderfully made, you know? What a gift!
