Day 2 of my Thankful Challenge: This is really difficult as it seems these can be perceived as being prioritized...so let me just say mine are NOT prioritized...they are off the cuff, in no particular order, what popped into my head this moment thankful thoughts: 1. My family-who I will not list by name because no one is first, second, third, etc.-you all make everyday a joy and have made my life beautiful in countless, precious ways. 2. The ability to travel- this brings greater appreciation of the world as a whole, our world is so vast, so beautifully created by us by God. I believe He wants us to fully view, admire and enjoy His work, His beautiful landscapes, sunsets, terrains, bodies of water and beautiful skies. 3. The written word.. whether it be a contemporary work by a favorite author that stirs my thoughts, the Word of God that provokes and prods my soul, our the classic words of an 1800s era novelist that stills my spirit...Each word can be devoured, its nourishment bringing vitality to dying cells, breathing hope into a place of despair and/or evoking tears from even the hardest of hearts. The written word is truly a gift. (and I said I wouldnt let this thing get to me!)
