Day 2 of positive thoughts, the BIRTHDAY edition... 1 - I positively love my birthday. I always have, and I always will. Dont even think about suggesting I am too grown up for that. I love all birthdays, really. 2 - Facebook is cool. Without it, I wouldnt have gotten over 100 virtual birthday cards from friends and family, near and far. Those greetings brought an uncountable number of smiles to me today, and I treasure every one. It also allowed me to connect with two gym pals, who ensured that I earned every cupcake crumb. 3 - Cupcakes are really awesome. Everybody gets to choose their favorite flavors, and they look really fabulous when packed with lit candles. 11 fit on my Peanut Butter Blossom cupcake. Side note - here I am, at the age of 43, ready to admit that I like chocolate as chocolate. Not as cake, or as an ice cream flavor. I am a butter and brown sugar girl. Today, I pass this blessing of posting 3 positive thoughts a day, for a week, to..........Jen Lyles. Because I know her birthday off the top of my head ;-)
