Day 2 of posting your favorite song every day for five days. Its a song from my childhood – heard this all the time in the car and at home on the radio, on the old WHBF-AM. My mother purchased the 45 RPM single version and I remember all the times it we played it and it would skip near the end, with that musical note that plays in between blow in the night/in the southern skies. The flip side was the William Tell Overture, done only as he could do it. A number one country and pop song from 1977: Southern Nights by Glen Campbell. Still one of my favorites of all time.
