Day 2 of the Spain-Turkey journey. It was exhausting today, I only made about 70 kilometers and I walked for who knows how far, my body is screaming. But in the bright side I found a cozy, safe camp spot! Day 3 S-T today was a good day. It was slow in the morning I walked several kilometers down the camino de santiago. After finding a much better spot was picked up by a really nice guy who drove me 10 kilometers out of his way just drop me off at the best truck stop around. Then I got picked up by another guy on an endless journey without money. We have had to stop several times to busk up change for gas/petrol, but I think we might make it all the way to Girona tomorrow. Sleeping on the beach tonight so I can watch the sunrise over the Mediterranean and have a fire. Faith in humanity has been restored for today. Day 4 S-T I wish I had a camera. Watched the sun rise. Muy bonita! Had a lovely breakfast of tiny chocolate covered croissants, thanks Rob! My food supply is running strong, thanks Tim n Shell! my crazy new friend is sober today but Im starting to wonder how long this shaky partnership will last, his goal this morning seems to boo more focused on finding another bottle of whiskey then driving. Esta vida. Hopefully I can coax him to get us all the way to Girona today before he starts. Im optimistic about today! I am sad I missed my couchsurfing host in Tarragona but am grateful for the vehicle connection.
