Day 20 of Christmas Music Countdown. This one is dedicated to Daniel, because I think it might enjoy it as something a little deeper than the typical holiday pizazz. The poem was written by Longfellow, inspired from his personal grief--the death of his wife and crippling of his son--because of the Civil War.
