Day 21 of Thankfulness: I am so blessed to have had this handsome hairy boy in my barn and show team. He is my World Champion. My master of the trail course. Darby is heading to Virginia on Monday morning to be a part of a large Gypsy and Fresian show string that will hit all the big feather shows. It will be a great home with super owners and a very nice and knowledgeable trainer. I just gave him his last bath before the cold front hits so that he will be clean and dry for his trip on Monday. As I put the final braid in his tail he turned and looked back at me over his giant apple butt with knowing eyes. He is the smartest horse I have ever been around.... of course he knows..... So, it took a week or two to hit me, but yes, now I am crying. Thanks for the great memories Darby!
